A little about our Canadian babe, Lavictoire!

Lavictoire's founder and creative director, Chassandre Lavictoire, moved to Europe in her early twenties to pursue a career in fashion design. After designing for major brands in Paris, New York and Vancouver, she returned to Canada's west coast to start and run her own label.

It was while designing her own wedding dress that Chassandre decided to start Lavictoire. Inspired from a young age by turn-of-the-century aesthetics and the Arts and Crafts movement, she saw an opportunity to meld a lifetime of passion with her experience designing high-quality garments—creating adaptable, sustainable solutions for the challenges faced by modern brides.

Every Lavictoire gown is made to order in our studio in Victoria, Canada. Influenced by our home on the west coast, our wedding dresses are naturally whimsical and structurally sober, focusing on simplicity, comfort, and the fine details that make every style unique.
