If there is one thing we love more than a bride saying yes to the dress, it is helping a bride accessorize her dream wedding look! With so many options for veils, earrings, hair pieces, bracelets and necklaces we completely understand that finding the finishing touches might be a tad bit overwhelming; that’s why we are here!

We put together a quick list of the most frequently asked questions about picking and purchasing your accessories.

When should I order my accessories?

Brides should be ordering their accessories a minimum of 3-4 months before their wedding date. Given the current global situation, many accessory designers have extended their lead times to 8-10 weeks to accommodate new orders. This means by the time it ships to us and we conduct a thorough quality control it will be at least 11-12 weeks from the time of purchase! For a stress free accessory shopping experience we recommend purchasing 3-4 months prior to your big day!

How do I know what veil I should wear?

Ahh the age old question! The truth is it is all personal preference! The best advice we can give is to book an Accessory Appointment, bring your dress (if possible) and try on several different styles and lengths of veils.

TMB TIP: If you aren’t able to book an appointment, a good rule of thumb if you’re looking for a longer veil (Chapel length or Cathedral length) is to ensure the edge of the veil matches or goes past your train! You want to avoid the veil “cutting off” your train as it’s something of beauty!

Can I customize my accessories?

Yes! Most designers offer a number of customizations for accessories that can range from metal colour changes (gold, silver, rose gold) to stone changes (opal, crystals, coloured crystals) to even earring backings (clip-on or pierced)! You can discuss unique customizations with your consultant during an Accessory Appointment or by checking out the available customizations on your favourite pieces in our TMB Shop!

Is there such thing as too many accessories?
