After a decade of dressing brides in the finest gowns, TMB Bridal is embarking on an exciting new chapter. Our growth has been fueled by the unwavering support of our brides, their families, and the dedication of our incredible team. As we prepare to move into a newly designed space, we want to share the story behind this decision, the lessons we've learned, and the vision that drives us forward.
Our Vision for the Future: Donna Hirst, our CFO who has been with TMB since the very beginning, shares, "Our business has been growing at such a fast pace, thanks to our brides and their families believing in us to provide them with the best client experience in the bridal industry. We knew we would need a bigger space. Despite efforts to expand within our beloved historic Petrie building, we had to look elsewhere. Almost three years ago, we began our search and found another spectacular historic building in Guelph that we know our brides will love. This move allows us to double our square footage, offering fully accessible private appointment rooms, a spacious loft, and more accessories than ever before. It's all about enhancing the experience for our brides and creating a workspace that continues to exceed our clients' expectations every day."
Designing a Space with Heart: Alicia, our Director of Vendor Relations, reflects on the excitement of creating a space that is truly ours. "We've moved from three different spaces now, and what excites me most about this move is the ability to completely custom design it. Petrie had its beautiful architecture, but there were limitations in how we could create a cohesive flow for our brides. We've learned a lot over the years, and now, with more space, we can offer private spaces for our brides and a more intentional, flexible design that caters to their needs."
She continues, "One key lesson we've learned is the importance of space. Our loft is almost tripling in size, allowing our gowns to breathe and our brides to enjoy a more luxurious shopping experience. We've also designed the new space with flexibility in mind, ensuring that it can adapt as our needs and the needs of our brides evolve."
A Collaborative Effort: Sarah, our Director of Operations, brings her hands-on experience to the design and functionality of the new space. "We've grown so much as a team, and having all of us involved in the project makes it easier to know what's going to work and what won't. My focus was on creating a flow that works for both our brides and our staff. It's not just about how it looks on paper, but how it functions in real life. We've taken everything we've learned from previous spaces and applied it here to ensure the functionality is top-notch."
Sarah also emphasizes the importance of listening to our brides. "Each time we learn what works and what doesn’t, we refine our approach. This move is the result of years of experience, and it's all about creating a space that truly serves our brides."
Looking Ahead: As we prepare to open the doors of our new boutique, we are filled with anticipation and excitement. Our expanded space will not only allow us to showcase more of the beautiful gowns and accessories our brides have come to love but also provide a more personalized and private shopping experience.
Alicia sums it up best: "At the end of the day, it's about creating an environment where our brides feel special and supported. This move is a testament to our commitment to them, and we can't wait to see how it will enhance their bridal journey."
